The petals of the kantuta flower decorate the Andean horizon, earning admiration since the times of the Inca Empire. So impressed were they with the flower’s unique beauty, they consecrated the kantuta to Inti, the Sun God, and promoted it’s cultivation throughout Peru and Bolivia. The blossom also inspires the artist, who weaves the alpaca wool throw on a traditional loom in vivid shades of ochre, yellow, greens and purple over.
A throw blanket is a medium sized-blanket. The throw blanket is distinguishable from other blankets because it is edged with fringe, making it one of the more decorative blankets you can use in home décor.
